NNI’s Executive Director to Present at NCAI’s 74th Annual Conference and Marketplace

This week, say hello to NNI’s Executive Director, Joan Timeche (Hopi) at the 74th Annual National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) Conference and Marketplace in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she will present in the Wednesday afternoon session entitled “Citizen-Owned Businesses: Key to Building Sustainable Tribal Economies.” Joan will discuss the contributions of tribal citizen-owned businesses to tribal economies and what tribal governments can do to foster entrepreneurship. John “Rocky” Barrett, Chairman of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and NNI International Advisory Council member, is also a featured speaker. The session runs from 1:30-4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 18, in Wisconsin Center Room 103C.
