Native American entrepreneurs: We want to hear from you.
Body:
Dear [NAME],
What has been your experience accessing capital for your business as a Native entrepreneur in Arizona and/or New Mexico?
Native Community Capital (NCC), the Indigenous Economic Wellbeing Alliance (IEWA) and the Native Nations Institute (NNI) at the University of Arizona have partnered to advocate for growing Tribal economies.
If you…
- identify as Native American and/or Indigenous
- are a small business owner—or soon-to-be small business owner (your business is in the development phase)
- have business operations in Arizona or New Mexico
- are 18 years of age or older
…WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
Your participation will advise the banking industry, policymakers and Tribal leaders about the opportunities and challenges facing Native American entrepreneurs and will help inform policies and regulations that benefit Tribal economies.
Participation prizes will be raffled after every 25th completed survey. Prizes include items from OXDX Clothing, Pat Pruitt, Metalsmith, and Dineh Jewelry by Samantha Platero.
If you would like to participate, please fill out our 20-minute survey!
We would also appreciate your help spreading the word about this opportunity to any of your Indigenous relatives, friends, peers or colleagues who own businesses that operate in Arizona and/or New Mexico – or those who are starting businesses in these states. Please feel free to forward this message to anyone who you think fits the criteria and might be interested in contributing their voice.
Thank you for your time and interest in helping strengthen the Native small business sector!
Sincerely,
[Signature]
