Caleigh is a second-year Doctor of Public Health student in Public Health Policy and Management at the University of Arizona (UArizona) Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH).

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion in the Indigenous Health track from Northern Arizona University (NAU). Her research interests are in tribal health policy, food sovereignty, and Indigenous data governance.

Caleigh Curley is both Navajo (Diné) and Hopi, and grew up on the Navajo Nation. For several years, Caleigh worked as a research specialist in the NAU Health Sciences department, where she partnered with the Navajo Epidemiology Center and other entities to determine the fidelity and implementation of the 2% sales tax on unhealthy foods and sugar-sweetened beverages within the Navajo Nation.

Caleigh now serves as a research program administrator in the Community, Environment, and Policy department, MEZCOPH, where she collaboratively works with the Intertribal Council of Arizona to improve Indigenous data governance policies in Arizona. Caleigh is passionate about improving the health of tribal nations through health policy and looks forward to learning more about policy development and analysis in her DrPH studies.
