Amy Jorgensen, M.F.A.
Amy is a trusty ally and our one-lady “zhuzh it up" department. She serves our mission by designing all sorts of graphics for print/digital outputs including data visualizations, conceptual models, summary reports, maps, logos, publication layouts, webpages, etc. She helps content manage of all NNI websites, including the Indigenous Governance Program, the Indigenous Governance Database, the Constitutions Resource Center, and the site you are on right now. During her U of A tenure, she has redesigned all the aforementioned sites to align them with the U of A brand.
Educationally, she holds a MFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, a BA in Art, and a BA in Psychology from Bucknell University. Recreationally, she creates interactive installation art, practices yoga/meditation, and hikes around in the forest as often as possible. She has authored one book so far: Design Required: Interactive Installation Art Designed to Promote Behavior Change (2015) and can read, but rarely does. She spends her free time hanging out with her husband Danny, very fluffy dog Bonkers, and a medley of old and new friends.
