JIT 2018 Registration Begins

The Indigenous Governance Program, a partnership between the Native Nations Institute and the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, is pleased to announce that it will begin accepting registrations for the upcoming January in Tucson 2018 intensive educational session.

For three weeks each year, January in Tucson brings together top experts in the fields of Indigenous governance and Indigenous rights to offer a wide selection of courses, ranging from “Native Economic Development” to “Indigenous Peoples’ Rights Under International Law.” But what makes January in Tucson truly unique is the opportunity it provides for participants – tribal leaders, community members, students, faculty, and other interested individuals – to engage in candid conversations about the practical challenges of governance facing their home communities. The result is more than just a series of classes. Participants come away from January in Tucson poised to effect change.

All January in Tucson offerings are designed as stand-alone courses. Individuals may take as few or as many courses as they desire. Course registration information and financial aid options can all be found at igp.arizona.edu.
