Biographical Note

Niina Haas is a Research Analyst at the Native Nations Institute. Her current work addresses governance issues and frameworks in Indian Country. Previous social science policy research has included domestic violence, urban poverty, societal impacts of climate change, international school feeding programs, and cancer. Research has focused on understanding the ways in which these topics behave as systems within the larger context of society. She has experience in and has written on understanding the aforementioned topics through the use of agent based modeling, social systems modeling, rapid assessments and evaluations, and qualitative and quantitative research.
