Lindsay Riggs is Tribal Services Program Coordinator at the Native Nations Institute. Lindsay's primary role is to coordinate NNI's direct services. This means she is the primary staff person for any work that NNI does with Indian Country including educational sessions, presentations, Governance Analysis for Native Nations (GANN), and tribal leadership orientations ("house calls" that NNI provides to newly elected leaders to help orient them in their roles within tribal government). See NNI's Tribal Services Page for more information.

Lindsay received her M.A. in American Indian Studies and B.A. in Anthropology both from the University of Arizona. Prior to working for NNI she worked closely with Native American families in Arizona coordinating project activities, providing culturally-adapted curriculum, and documenting the efficacy of this project with the Phoenix Indian Center and Arizona State University's Southwest Interdisciplinary Research Center.

She is a citizen of the Navajo Nation, originally from Chinle and Canyon de Chelly, Arizona.
